1520 Sedgwick Avenue: October 20th, 2008 Monday, October 20, 2008

Posted by Andy Hutchins in 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, Rockabye.

All sorts of fun stuff today. First, I watched Training Day (four of five stars, maybe) this weekend; the first cruise in Denzel’s badass cop’s Monte Carlo overlaid music is overlaid with the plunking piano from this, an opus from the better-keyboardist-than-producer Scott Storch.

Then there’s a couple of Real videos after the jump.

First, surviving the times through using Swizz Beatz albums.

(That’s a parody of this, better parodied here.)

Then there’s “Fall Out Day,” one of their better ones. Watch through the end.

I’ll explain it later if you want.

And then there’s this, a nice rundown of Eminem’s sojourn into the wilderness of nothingness for the last four years and a summation of his career in the nice, cordial way British papers do those things.

Oh, and The Quarter Pole is today.
