It has been a loooooong week my friends. I’ve missed you for 2 YMRs, a New Music Tuesday, and an Idol recap. My bad. Apologies on the house, ok? So, let’s have a good weekend – we should be back on track come Monday.

BTW – Asking For Flowers is my leader at the proverbial quarter-pole…

agreed—for some reason I sort of discriminate against female artists (why, dunno…) but Asking For Flowers is an outstanding CD. A good friend is going to her her tomorrow night down in Nashville. I am envious.

As an aside, she’s kinda hot, to boot.

I love Asking For Flowers too and it’s near the top of my faves (as stated in the other post).

The Cheapest Key reminds me a lot of She’s In Love With The Boy by Trisha Yearwood

Kathleen puts on a super show, so I am quite jealous of your friend. She’s also touring with Dan Wilson so that should be a nice night of the musics. We couldn’t make her stop here b/c it was on a Monday night here, which seems to be the case with every show lately.

Doug, I’ve been trying to place what I thought the music was similar too, I believe that was where my brain was taking me as well. I wonder if F is her favorite letter as well?

Nashville gets The New Pornographers today and Kathleen Edwards tomorrow? No fair.

I just bought a ticket to her show here next month. Rilo Kiley and then Kathleen Edwards 3 days later. Sweet!

That is a week of lovely ladies right there, Doug.

I’m looking forward to the Rilo show here in June.
