Happy Leap Day! Celebrate or something, ok?

And since it’s Friday, that means we need a little F**k music for the weekend. So, I give you the soulful styling of Mr. Sam Cooke.

See ya on Monday.

Right on. Sam Cooke was a smooth mother. If you have ANY classic R&B in your collection, you need to have Live at the Harlem Square Club – 1963.

Great point, Mingus. My uncle’s contributions to the music world have long been underappreciated, and “Harlem Square” is a must-have for all those who’ve only heard the “squeaky clean” Sam Cooke. He purposely targeted both the white and black markets with his pop releases, but his black audiences saw a different side of Sam in concert.
