Well holied shit, looks like we’ve got a ridiculously good week of new albums heading our way. Good times for all!

Pete and Pete say, “Yay new Nada Surf!” But wait…there’s more!

Nada Surf – Lucky
If you only know this band from “Popular” so many years ago, then you’ve been missing out on some absolutely lovely pop music, especially so over the past five years or so. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Bob Mould – District Line
Bob + guys from Fugazi = Crazy Delicious.  I’m liking “The Silence Between Us” and have high hopes for this one. It’s good to have Bob rocking again.

Lenny Kravitz – It’s Time For A Love Revolution
Be careful Lenny, the Paultards may think you are channeling them with this “Love Revolution” talk.  Tread lightly and beware of dirigibles.

Jack Johnson – Sleep Through The Static
It will be pleasant. It will not rock. A lot of the songs will sound the same. It will still sell a lot of copies.

Sheryl Crow – Detours
As seen on the Today show.

This week you’ll also find new releases from Hot Chip, Josh Kelley, and Taylor fucking Dayne. Tell it to my heart in the comments boys and girls.

I think the album that interests me most this week is Sons & Daughters’ This Gift. I haven’t heard a lot about the album yet, only their single Darling, but The Repulsion Box was excellent.
