Okay, sure, so it’s Leap Day and I just wanted unusual. Sue me.

This episode opens with Brad and Tori flirting, and talking her being “on the line” for going into the next Gauntlet. As a stark contrast, we also see happy couple Danny and Melinda in the middle of a blow-out, as Melinda is arguing that the Rookies are at a disadvantage with fewer players, which inexplicably sends Brad into a rage. Just as things begin to heat up, the cast gets their clue – “How many of you are pushovers?” Join me after the jump to find out (answer: most of them).

Happy Leap Day! Celebrate or something, ok?

And since it’s Friday, that means we need a little F**k music for the weekend. So, I give you the soulful styling of Mr. Sam Cooke.

See ya on Monday.

Throwback Thursday makes you nod your head.

Really, if you don’t laugh and bob your head at this, you’re barely human. And I’m rolling all the leftover stuff from Tuesday into the inaugural Rap-Up on Saturday, so that’s when the Erykah Badu question will get answered.

HEEEEERE’S DADDY!!!

Well gang, I’m back and I’m exhausted.  It was great to get out of town for more than a couple of days for the first time in a long time – I highly recommend Red Rocks and Valley of Fire National Parks as a respite from the Vegas craziness. Sunday, while we were taking a nice little in-room respite before checking out Wayne Brady’s show at the Venetian we watched a bit of the Oscars. It warmed the cockles of my heart to see “Falling Slowly” win for Best Song. So, let’s give it a go as our morning music, ok?

Glen and Marketa are touring this spring/summer, I’m planning on hitting up the Baltimore show. You should check them out too. Also, go rent Once if you haven’t seen it yet.

A couple more Once gems after the jump…

Good morning ladies…and gentlemen, I’m Mr. Yostal and I’ll be your substitute teacher for “Your Morning Rock” today.

As I mentioned yesterday, Mr. Jerkwheat has left me very specific instructions as to what does and does not go on here, so don’t try and think you can pull anything on me. If you try anything, I will make you pay in a way that you cannot possibly imagine. Are we clear? Are we clear? Good…then this will go just splendidly.

One of my favorite bands ever, and perhaps one of the more underrated.  Ladies and gentlemen, I give you The Zombies…

I know, it’s a Monday, and you want something upbeat, and peppy, and that will get you going.  Too bad, you get Out of Time-era R.E.M. at their most down moment.

So, last week we found out that Sayid works as an assassin for Ben in the future, the island is 31 minutes behind real-world time and that Ben apparently has means and reasons to leave the island. Again, more questions…no answers.

Before we recap Eggtown, there’s a small bit of Lost news to share. TV Guide has reported that Lost will run for another three episodes and then return for five additional episodes on April 24th at 10pm. Grey’s Anatomy will take Lost‘s current time-slot (Thank you, ABC, for moving Lost yet again!)

Also, the Lost video-game, Lost: Via Domus, for the PC, 360 and PS3 will be released on Tuesday the 26th. Details can be found here.

This episode starts off with the Veteran guys discussing their brilliant plan to throw the next 4 girl-Gauntlet challenges in order to “trim the fat” (please avoid playing any drinking games where you must drink each time this is said – you may suffer from alcohol poisoning). We also Frank telling his Rookie teammates that the previous night he had heard the Veteran guys discussing this strategy, so he is excited that they might win a challenge. Join me after the jump to check out these brain surgeons in action.
