This episode opens with Trisha on the phone with her boyfriend, Jarod. Surprisingly (because we all know that the Real World is actually very conducive to staying together with your significant other), they arguing. Trisha tells Jarod that she doesn’t want him to call her every day and gives him the old “let’s take a break” talk. He naturally gets upset by this, and they continue arguing, so Trisha makes the mature decision to hang up on him. Follow me after the jump to hear about the rest of Trisha’s mature behavior.

The roommates are all walking around Sydney, and Trisha is talking to KellyAnne about breaking up with Jarod. She pulls out another cliche, telling her that she “need[s] to let loose” (hehe, she said loose). Back at the house, Trisha calls up Alex (an Aussie boy that she met) to talk, and he manages to invite himself over to the house that night. As soon as Alex walks in the door, Trisha tells him (repeatedly) that she is newly single. This leads to Isaac and Cohutta talking shit about Trisha, discussing how she talks about Jarod (her now ex-boyfriend) constantly, but is now ready to make out with a new boy. All of this action causes Shauvon to think about how she “just want[s] to be single” (i.e. she regrets making out with Isaac), and would rather make out with Aussie boys than with her roommates. Therefore, Shauvon decides to call up Ky (an Aussie boy that she met) and ask him to hang out. After she gets off the phone, she talks about her broken engagement to her roommates, telling them that she and her ex-fiance “just couldn’t be together right now” (how descriptive).

While waiting for everyone to go out, Parissa is drinking from a bottle of wine and getting absolutely shitfaced. She takes this time to bitch to Cohutta about how Trisha and she don’t get along. At the same time, Trisha is bitching about Parissa. Everyone goes out for the evening (including Alex and Ky), and Parissa continues drinking. Eventually, when it’s time to return to the house, Dunbar is forced to “fireman’s carry” Parissa home since she is completely obliterated. Back at the house, Shauvon and Ky retreat to her bed where they make out, and possibly do a little more (clever editing suggests that they disappear under the covers for some naked shenanigans). Isaac notices this, and he tells Cohutta that he is pissed off that he is now “in the same category as that d-bag” (not sure what makes Ky a d-bag in this situation, other than making out with someone that Isaac is interested in). After Ky leaves, Shauvon says that “tonight went a little too far” and that “making out with someone is the last thing I need” (really? because you’ve made out with two different guys in the span of 2 days).

The next morning, Parissa asks Shauvon what her ex-fiance would think, and she says that “it would crush him” (maybe it wouldn’t, you ego-maniac). At the same time, Trisha is talking to Cohutta about her ex-boyfriend Jarod and her new crush Alex. Their conversation prompts her to write Jarod an e-mail telling him about Alex and stating that she felt bad about it, which causes her to sit at the computer for the next few hours waiting for a response. Parissa is bitching about not being able to check her e-mail (which she needs to do to get a friend’s address or phone number), and of course they get into an argument about it. Trisha says various nasty things to Parissa (e.g. “you only have 5 friends anyway), and Parissa makes the decision to walk away from the argument. Parissa and Shauvon go for a walk, and Shauvon tells Parissa that rather than walk away she needs to stand up for herself (yes, she’s encouraging more arguments!). Parissa says that Trisha is “toxic” and she wants nothing to do with her. At the same time, Isaac and Cohutta are talking to Trisha about being selfish and “fighting nasty”, to which Trisha responds that she actually wants to be friends with Parissa. The episode ends with Isaac replying “I don’t know” when Trisha asks him if he likes her as a person.

Trisha is has a shallow character and needs to do some deep soul searching. What a shame! 20 years from now, how can she look herself in the mirror and hold her head up with pride.

It’s not even the fighting that gets to me, it’s what actually comes out from her mouth. There is no thought process. What a shame again.
