Our final episode opens in the morning with Charna and Andy Dick coming over to the house to cook dinner for the roommates, who are all sad about the fact that their Real World experience is coming to an end. While Nick and Kimberly walk around for a bit, discussing their career aspirations, Will tells people that he is concerned that they have not heard from Joey lately. Cut to Joey in Chicago, hanging out with his new girlfriend Melaine (NOT a typo!) and his BFF John, watching tapes of backyard wrestling. Scintillating stuff. This episode opens with the roommates at the Improv. Charna tells them that they will not be having class during the next week because they are going on a trip to Cancun, Mexico. That night, after spending some time talking about the trip, they go out to a club and get drunk. Back at home, Dave is passed out in the bathroom, so Will does a little “antiquing” (throws a clump of flour at him), and convinces Brittini to do the same. Dave eventually wakes up, but he isn’t pissed off. Meanwhile, Brittini talks to Will about wanting to be friends with him, and she is glad that he will be away from Janelle on their trip to Mexico. Yes, I know these recaps would be more effective if they weren’t presented 2.5 days after the episode airs, but I have a real life here, people! Anyway, this episode opens with Brianna getting a phone call from Alex Band (you know, the guy she sang back-up for at the benefit concert? the former lead singer of The Calling? Keep up, people!) where he thanks her, and asks if she wants to come into the studio to record her vocals. Brianna heads to the studio and begins recording, but she has a really difficult time and decides that it isn’t her “kind of music” so she stops. This episode opens up at night with Kimberly and Brianna talking about getting two new roommates (to replace Greg and Joey). In anticipation, and unsure of who the new roommates might be, Will moves in with Dave. We then get a nice little scene of Will and Janelle out on a date, eating at a Chinese restaurant. This episode opens with Joey on the treadmill and doing a heavy workout. He gets a phone call from his friend Mike, and tells him about being in rehab. Mike’s response is “Are we gonna have fun when I come out there?” After he gets off the phone, Joey tells Sarah that Mike is the one who got him involved in drugs, and that he is nervous about him coming out. This episode opens with Greg in the kitchen, cooking for some of his friends. Will walks through the kitchen, and after he leaves Greg and his friends talk shit about him. Later, the girls come home to the messy kitchen and bitch to Dave about the situation. Dave suggests that they leave a note for Greg, so Kimberly leaves him a note politely asking him to clean his dishes and take out his trash. Greg finds the note, and leaves one for Dave, Sarah and Kimberly that says “Fuck You.” Join me after the jump for the rest of the friendliness.

This episode opens with Sarah’s boyfriend Ryan arriving in town. She is nervous about Ryan meeting Will, since she had told him that Will was interested in her. When they get to the house, Will is there with a friend, and he introduces his friend as Will. After a few seconds, Sarah tells Ryan that he was joking, and that he is actually Will. Nope, not awkward at all.

This episode opnes with Dave and Brianna eating and dating about dating / sex. This leads to Dave stating that although he has had sex with Kim, he could never really “like” her because she has ugly feet. We then see Kim on the phone with her friend back home, and she says that although she doesn’t want to care about Dave, she does care about him (ahh, the tragedy). To contrast this drama, we cut to Greg getting a pedicure, talking about his modeling career. Join me after the jump for booty calls, booty-shaking, and a little bit of maturity.

This episode opens with Brianna talking to Will about having to go back home to Philadelphia for her arrest warrant, and he tells her that he will accompany her, so they fly back together. At the same time, everyone else in the house is in the kitchen talking about strippers, with Sarah going on and on about objectification and Kimberly arguing that strippers are just lazy and stripping to pay for their drugs. Dave and Joey get mad, and all of the boys leave the house bitching about the girls’ cattiness. Join me after the jump to find out what else pisses Joey off.

This episode opens with the roommates out at night, and we see Kimberly dancing with some random guy, which makes Dave jealous. On their way home, Kimberly says to Dave “too bad you’re not hot or I would fuck you.” To make her point, as soon as they get home, Kimberly fucks Dave. The next morning, Dave is on the phone with one of Kimberly’s friends from home, joking around about their “relationship”, which pisses Kimberly off. This episode opens on a beautiful morning, with Dave and Joey goofing off in Kimberly’s bed (not like that, perv). We also see Sarah on the phone with her boyfriend, and she tells him that Will has a crush on her. Surprisingly, her boyfriend is not pleased. Ladies and Gentleman, the 20th season of The Real World began on MTV this past Wednesday, and with it Bunim/Murray Productions has finally acknowledged what we all knew - the kids on this show are some fake-ass people. This season the house is located in Hollywood, and all of the roommates were picked specifically because of their desire to work in the entertainment industry. So, just like most of the roommates on previous seasons, these people are attention-whores - it’s just that this time around they are being honest about it. When last we met, the Rookies had decided to “protect” Eric, feeling that his weight would slow the Veterans down in the final challenge, and chosen to send Adam into the Gauntlet. This episode picks up with the Veterans moving to the Gauntlet for their own deliberations of who to send in against Adam. While the general consensus is that they want to send in Danny, since he tried to cut a deal with the Rookies, no one on the Veterans team is willing to speak up first. This episode opens at night with the Veteran guys talking about throwing the challenge the next day to get rid of their last “dead-weight” girl, and they decide that they are just going to be obvious about it. At the same time, we see Frank (from the Rookies) talking to Katie and he asks her who she would want to face in the Gauntlet. Before she makes up her mind, the cast gets their clue, that says “Need a break from the heat? This episode opens at night with the cast getting their clue, which says that “things could be looking up, but you don’t want to look down” (oooh, wonder if that involves heights somehow). We also see Ev discussing the fact that she wants to get rid of Katie and Coral, so she wants to throw the challenge the next day. Now, those of you who read these recaps faithfully (and there are clearly billions of you) might have noticed in some previous recaps that a commenter has alleged that Ev was a man back in high school (i.e. she literally had a penis). This episode opens with Brad and Tori flirting, and talking her being “on the line” for going into the next Gauntlet. As a stark contrast, we also see happy couple Danny and Melinda in the middle of a blow-out, as Melinda is arguing that the Rookies are at a disadvantage with fewer players, which inexplicably sends Brad into a rage. This episode starts off with the Veteran guys discussing their brilliant plan to throw the next 4 girl-Gauntlet challenges in order to “trim the fat” (please avoid playing any drinking games where you must drink each time this is said - you may suffer from alcohol poisoning). We also Frank telling his Rookie teammates that the previous night he had heard the Veteran guys discussing this strategy, so he is excited that they might win a challenge. This episode opens with Brooke and Ev flirting, and Ev tells us that she would rather have things work out between them than win the $300,000. Brooke, on the other hand, informs us that she doesn’t want Ev to get the wrong idea about where their “relationship” might be headed (which, apparently, is nowhere). We see the rest of the Veteran girls discussing the idea of picking your own Gauntlet opponent, and all of them seem to think that they are first in line if they lose.
