There’s a serious difference between “the work” and “the record” in the parallel structure there, and, for goshsakes, the question is a time-old “How was it?” analogue.

If this is when we hear from the horse’s mouth there was a Nick Jonas/Miley Cyrus coupling, why isn’t Blender (which is, after all, the musically-inclined cousin of Maxim) even acknowledging the either poor or perfect choice of words here?
